Tonight we will look at the difference between tests and trials. We will learn how we should respond as believers in a way that bears good fruit in our lives.
Today as we celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout 2023, we also look forward to what the Lord has for us in 2024. In this section of Exodus, we will be encouraged by how the Lord prepares His people, and He also prepares a place for them. Let’s make sure we are prepared for all that God has in store for us.
As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we will look at a prophecy concerning His name, Emmanuel, which means God with us. We will discover the many blessings of God with us as we learn that God came to be with us, that we might be with Him for eternity.
Today we see Jesus, heading toward the cross to die for those who have betrayed Him, forsook Him, plotted His murder, and mocked Him. Jesus becomes our example of what it looks like to love our enemies.
In today’s message, we will see Jesus mishandled by the Roman and Jewish judicial system. In addition to this, we will see Peter fall. Our title is “Recipe for Disaster” as we will look at the steps that led to Peter's fall in hopes that we might learn from his mistakes and stand instead of fall.
Today we will see Jesus drawing near to the Father and moving towards the cross through extreme obedience. It seems the closer He gets to the cross, the lonelier it is. People begin to fall away. There are many lessons in this section, but one of them is that nearness to God can be lonely at times.
Today we welcome guest speaker Curtis Wilson as he goes through Jude 1:1-11. Supporting scriptures: John 7:1-8 Genesis 6:1-7 Matthew 17:1-5
Today we will see the beginning of the betrayal of Judas. His intentions are to betray the Lord into the hands of his adversaries. We see Jesus still walking in obedience to the Father, even after becoming aware, He sings praises. There is a clear warning against insincerity with God in these verses.
Today we will see several people respond to Jesus. In the midst of these responses, we see a woman who worships Jesus in an extravagant way. She ministered to Jesus, and in her worship demonstrated that Jesus was worthy of it all. May we all learn from her example today.
