In this study of second kings 15 we will look at seven kings from Israel and Judah. From each king, we will take lessons that I hope will help us in our submission and surrender to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus.

Today we will learn about fatherhood and how foundational fathers are to God‘s plan for the family. We hope this will prepare new and existing fathers for their role and provide healing and comfort for those who didn’t have a father in their life.

In this message, we will learn about the mercy of God and why God shows mercy when His people are not obeying him. There will also be a warning about taking God‘s mercy for granted. May His mercy cause us to be thankful and obedient.

In today’s message, we will see how Paul responds and how God shows up when Paul is bitten by a snake. Snake bites can represent the difficult things that happen to us seemingly out of nowhere, in the course of life and serving the Lord. How we respond is so important because God is present and people are watching.

In this message, we will see Amaziah have some victory, and because of his pride, he picks a fight that he cannot win. We will be reminded of the source of our strength and the importance of humility in the life of the believer.

In today’s message, we will see the apostle Paul be used of God in the midst of his own personal storm and trial. We will learn some valuable lessons on what not to focus on and what to focus on when God allows us to go through seasons of testing. May we be strengthened through this great example.

In this message, we will see the end of life for three people. Each of them leaves something different behind for the generation behind them. It begs the question, what are you leaving behind? I hope the study will challenge us to consider how we’re living and what we’re leaving behind for those who look to us.

In this chapter, we will see King Jehoash live out his reign and life. He very much honored the priest Jehoiada, who was over him, but it would appear that he did not honor The Lord as much. He did right as long as Jahoiada was watching over him, but when Jahoiada died, he did wrong Before the Lord and his people. There are lessons to be learned tonight of the importance of fearing God and the danger of living in the fear of man.

Today as we celebrate 15 years of God‘s faithfulness to us as a church, we want to remember. We are exhorted many times in scripture to remember what God has done for us, how He has helped us, even in communion. As we look back to remember His faithfulness in the past, our hope is that it will strengthen you for the future battles we will fight.

In this message, we will learn the danger of being so focused on the enemy in front of us that we overlook the one sneaking in behind us. We must be watchful and alert for the obvious and the sometimes not so obvious strategies of the enemy. May God give us wisdom.
