In tonight‘s message, we will look at the first of seven penitential Psalms. We will learn of the importance of repentance and what it looks like to turn back to The Lord.

Not only did he lead the nation back to The Lord as he received a copy of the word of God, but he also made sure that it would be very difficult for them to go back to the things that Caused them to sin against the Lord. We will learn important principles on not just departing from sin, but making sure that there is no turning back.

In this Psalm, we will see the importance of connection with The Lord. The Psalmist cries out to the Lord, asking to be Heard and later he shares that he is confident in the Lord because he knows God hears him. What a privilege it is to be heard by God.
