This is a Psalm that David wrote after God delivered him from Saul and his other enemies. Tonight we will have an introduction to the book of psalms and begin by going through this first amazing Psalm. We will see a sharp contrast between two paths, the blessed life and the cursed life We will be reminded that with God there's no middle ground. We can choose a Life in Him that is blessed and abundant or we can choose a life that ends in ruin. This Psalm gives us some wisdom and council on how to live a happy life and which path will lead us to it.
