2 Corinthians 5:1-11 (A Resurrected Hope)
Zechariah 6:1-15 (Hope For The Future)
In tonight‘s message, we will learn how important it is that we listen to God‘s word and that we value His words above all others. In times of moral decline like what we see in our world today, the psalmist instructs us where to put our Hope and trust. Gods word over everything.
We will get a brief introduction to the book of Acts, and then we will look at the importance of the power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. We will also look at God‘s promise to those of us who await His return.
In this message, we will learn about the blessing of God‘s favor in the life of the believer. We will see the significance of God‘s timing and just how perfect it is for those who wait on Him. And lastly, we will see the power of God‘s word. Whatever He says is what will be.
We will start 1 Peter and learn about how God has set us apart for a "Living Hope."
In today’s message, we will learn about the favor of God, the proper response when God has spoken to us, the fact that there is nothing too hard for God, and what our response should be to the goodness of God.
Today we will see some of the ways God communicates to believers. We will also learn of the importance of going in obedience to God‘s call. The call of God does may not always make sense to us. God doesn’t need you to understand, He just wants us to obey.
In today’s message, we will learn about the will of God. How to seek God‘s will as a unified church and as an individual member of the body of Christ. The more believers walk in the will of God, the more unified we will be.
In today’s message, we will look more closely at Stephen. We will learn that he was filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with faith, and filled with power. As a result of him having a life that was filled with God and God resources, he was mightily used of God. I pray that this message would encourage all of us to allow the Lord to fill our lives with Him and all of His resources.
