In this message, we will look at part two of the end of disobedience. As the book of 2 Kings comes to an end, yet once more we will be reminded of the consequence of not obeying God. I pray that we would take from this lesson, the encouragement to heed God‘s word and enjoy His blessing rather than disobey and receive his discipline.

In this study of second kings 15 we will look at seven kings from Israel and Judah. From each king, we will take lessons that I hope will help us in our submission and surrender to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus.

We must stand on God‘s word that we might resist the enemy when he attacks in this way. We will learn principles tonight that will help us When the “war of words” comes for us.

Not only did he lead the nation back to The Lord as he received a copy of the word of God, but he also made sure that it would be very difficult for them to go back to the things that Caused them to sin against the Lord. We will learn important principles on not just departing from sin, but making sure that there is no turning back.

In this message, we will learn about those dry seasons in our lives and how that what we do in dry seasons can determine how long they last. Allow the dry season to be one where you are sowing in worship and the word that God may fill you in his time.

In this message, we see two miracles performed through Elisha for the benefit of others. It is a great reminder to us that we serve the God of miracles. The things that are impossible with men are possible with God.

In this message, we will be introduced to Hezekiah. There will be three chapters taken up with his life, and all that God did with it. Tonight we will look at a man that the scripture says the Lord was with him. We will learn that because he was with the Lord, the Lord was also with him and what a difference that makes.

After delivering a very heavy warning earlier in the chapter, the writer of Hebrews now gives some encouragement for the Saints. We will learn that Jesus and His word provides hope for the believer and is an anchor for our soul. In the same way the anchor on a boat holds it steady through turbulent waters, our hope in Jesus, and in His word should hold us steady through the trials and tribulations we experience in the world.

In this message, we will be reminded of the fact that times of prosperity and blessing can be dangerous for the people of God. Historically, when God‘s people have been in trouble, oppressed, or in danger, they run to the Lord. But, in times of prosperity and blessing, they often forget the Lord that brought prosperity and blessing. We will learn from Hezekiah‘s mistake in this area tonight to remain worshipful and thankful when God has blessed and prospered us.

In this message we will see three things that King Ahaz did that were evil in the sight of the Lord. We must remember in our study of the Old Testament that we are always learning about God. If God says something is evil, we want to take note and make sure that is not how we are living our lives. I pray that we will glean much from this lesson that will help us to walk pleasing before God.
