In this study, we will look at king Asa and his life before God. He was a king that started well, struggled in the middle, and though he didn’t finish the way we would like to see, he never fell victim to idolatry, and God counted him as one of the good kings. We will learn about the importance of keeping our foot on the gas in our walk with God, balanced out with God‘s graciousness towards us.

In contrast with the false conversion of Simon the sorcerer, today we will look at the real conversion of Saul, who becomes Paul the apostle. As we learn what true conversion looks like, we can assess our own lives as to rather we have truly been converted.

Today we will see some of the ways God communicates to believers. We will also learn of the importance of going in obedience to God‘s call. The call of God does may not always make sense to us. God doesn’t need you to understand, He just wants us to obey.

In today’s message we will see the difference between those who truly belong to the Lord, and those who are just pretending. We will be sternly warned not to pretend and be encouraged to take hold of the Lord and all that He makes available to us.

God is able to turn the persecution of our enemy into an opportunity to empower His church. He really is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Today we will be challenged to consider our relationship with the Holy Spirit. As the people of the day were resisting Him, we will see the error of resisting and the benefit of yielding.
