In this final section of chapter 13, we will see different responses to the message of the gospel. While we do not have an individual claim on truth, we each do have our own faith journey. What we believe will determine what we do and that will determine where we spend eternity.
In today’s message, we will continue our series “Real Faith”. We will see what Noah, Abraham, and Sarah were moved to do by Faith. We will be challenged to consider that real Faith moves people to action. Our prayer is that this series would stir us up in our faith that we might accomplish great things for God.
In our final study of Hebrews 11, we see what individuals accomplished by faith, we see what communities of people who trusted God together accomplished by faith, and will also learn about enduring faith. Faith doesn’t just get things done, Faith is also able to endure hardship while trusting God. We pray that this message strengthens you in your faith, that you may continue to trust in, walk with, and patiently wait for God's will to be accomplished in your life.
CCI 10 Year Anniversary, Hebrews 11 (By Faith)
In today’s message, we will continue our series “Real Faith”. We will learn about faith being tested, faith for the future, faith to worship, faith that plans, faith over fear, faith that chooses affliction, faith to forsake, faith in the blood of the Lamb, and faith to go forward. May the Lord cause us to grow in all these areas by faith in His word.
In today’s message as we end the book of Hebrews. We will have many closing exhortations. Hebrews moves from the theological conversation to practical instruction for Christian living. We will deal with church leadership, sound doctrine, sacrifice, and perseverance. The goal is to allow deep theology to grow into everyday obedience.
Today we will learn about faith and why it is so important for people of Faith to keep their eyes on Jesus and not their circumstances.
In this Psalm, David is responding to those who are trying to make him fearful. He gives us a great example of how to respond to fear with Faith in the Lord. Anyone that may be confronted with difficult circumstances at this moment, I hope this message will encourage you to walk by Faith.
We have been learning through the book of Hebrews why Jesus is better in so many ways. In this message we will see that Jesus is a better sacrifice because He only needed to be sacrificed once. His sacrifice didn’t cover but completely cleanses us of sin. His sacrifice guarantees eternal life to those who will put their trust in Him. Jesus is a better in every way.
In this chapter, we learn some wonderful things about the priesthood of Jesus, and it seems that the writer of Hebrews has more he wishes he could say, but his audience has become “Dull of Hearing”. We will learn some principles that will help us to have sensitive ears to the voice of God and not become dull of hearing.
