In today’s message, we will learn all about angels. These are amazing creatures created by God for His own special purpose. After we explore how amazing they are, our text will remind us that Jesus is greater than them. We can appreciate the angels, but we worship Jesus. There is none greater than Him.
In today’s message, John will take the opportunity to clarify the difference between himself as forerunner for Christ and the work the Messiah was coming to do. John makes it emphatically clear that Jesus is greater than him and the work that He comes to do is Greater as well. There is a powerful lesson on humility and all of this.
We have been learning through the book of Hebrews why Jesus is better in so many ways. In this message we will see that Jesus is a better sacrifice because He only needed to be sacrificed once. His sacrifice didn’t cover but completely cleanses us of sin. His sacrifice guarantees eternal life to those who will put their trust in Him. Jesus is a better in every way.
In today’s message as we end the book of Hebrews. We will have many closing exhortations. Hebrews moves from the theological conversation to practical instruction for Christian living. We will deal with church leadership, sound doctrine, sacrifice, and perseverance. The goal is to allow deep theology to grow into everyday obedience.
In this message, we will continue to see that Jesus is the ultimate upgrade. He brought us an upgraded Priesthood, He Himself is an upgraded Priest, and ultimately gives us an upgraded covenant.

Today as we begin our study in the book of Hebrews, we will have a brief introduction to the book. Then we will begin with our first message on why Jesus is so much better! This letter was written to discouraged and persecuted Jewish believers. Some were so discouraged they were considering turning back to Judaism and leaving their faith in Christ. This letter serves to encourage them to continue with Christ because he is so much better than everything they left behind in Judaism. I pray that we will discover as we continue through this book that Jesus is so much better than anything we may have left behind or turned away from to pursue Him. Be blessed.
In this chapter, we learn some wonderful things about the priesthood of Jesus, and it seems that the writer of Hebrews has more he wishes he could say, but his audience has become “Dull of Hearing”. We will learn some principles that will help us to have sensitive ears to the voice of God and not become dull of hearing.
In today’s message, we will look at the genealogy of Jesus from Luke’s perspective. We will be reminded that God entered into humanity so that we might be saved. Jesus literally came for us! We will also see in this genealogy that He made room for all who desire to be saved to be able to come.
In this message, we will continue to see how Jesus is better in every way. Today specifically, we will see that Jesus provides us with a better sanctuary and a better Priestley service. When it is all said and done, there is none like Jesus in all the earth. May we never be deceived into receiving anything in His place?
