In this Psalm, David is again facing growing adversity. In the midst of it all he rejoices in the Lord, recounting the blessings of following the Lord and the glory to come after death.
Today, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, we will look at three different mothers. With each one, we will focus in on the different stages of motherhood. We hope this message will build up, strengthen, and encourage those who are serving the Lord in this important ministry.

In this message, we will compare Mount Sinai, where the law was given to Mount Zion where Christ is. We will compare Moses the mediator to Jesus the Mediator. We will see the mistakes made in rejecting Gods word in the past, that we would not make the same mistake in our day.
In the previous message “divine discipline" we learned about God’s loving discipline. In today’s message, verses 12 through 17 will focus on our response personally and corporately. The conversation moves from enduring hardship to pursuing holiness.
In this message, we will contrast the fool and the righteous. These verses will give us insight into the heart and mind of the atheist. It will also give us multiple reasons why we do not want to follow in their ways. Many are the benefits of the righteous and the calamities of the wicked.
In the last message we looked at the discipline of an endurance runner. Today we will look at the discipline of the Lord in our lives. We will see the wrong way and right way to respond to God‘s discipline. We will see what God‘s discipline says about who we are, and we will learn what God‘s discipline produces in the life of the believer.
In tonight‘s message, we will learn what to do when we feel like we have been abandoned by God. We will also learn the importance of keeping faith, facts, and truth over feelings.
