Today we will begin our study through the gospel of Luke. We will look at a brief introduction to the book and then jump right in with a message entitled “God has not forgotten “. We will be reminded that our prayers are heard by God and while He may not respond immediately, the answer is on the way.

Our Father (Luke 11:1-4)

Join us for this evening as we go through Luke 11:1-28 and take breaks to pray about this things we are reading. (Note: there will be pauses for prayer and we encourage you to pray during that time)

In today’s message, John will take the opportunity to clarify the difference between himself as forerunner for Christ and the work the Messiah was coming to do. John makes it emphatically clear that Jesus is greater than him and the work that He comes to do is Greater as well. There is a powerful lesson on humility and all of this.

In today’s message, we will get a glimpse of Jesus as a 12-year-old boy. We will learn from His example what it looks like to live life on this earth on mission (divine assignment).
