Week of February 5th: Hebrews 5:1-14

Always pray that God would speak to you and reveal more of Himself and His will as you study His Word.

Read Hebrews 5:1-14 and answer the following questions in a journal or notebook. You may use the suggested study materials (Blueletterbible.com and/or Biblegateway.com) to help you dig deeper.

1) Compare the Old Testament High Priest and Jesus, our High Priest. In what ways is Jesus better? (You will need to go beyond the verses)

2) According to verse 9, who gives eternal life? Who does He give it to?

3) Why couldn’t the writer of Hebrews tell them more about Jesus being a High Priest according to the order of Melchiezedek?

4) How can we grow spiritually?

If you have any questions and/or want to share what the Lord is showing you, post right here on the wall.
